CTG is seeking to fill a Sr. Lead Data Analyst opening for our client in San Antonio, TX. Location: San Antonio, TX Duration: 6 months contract Duties: • Lead data analysis initiatives to support business strategies and drive data-driven decision making • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and articulate business requirements, execution plans, and outcome narratives via PowerPoint storyboarding • Develop and maintain robust SQL queries and perform comprehensive data profiling to validate large datasets across distributed systems • Design and implement dashboards using Tableau and other BI tools to visualize data insights and performance metrics • Work closely with cross-functional teams using Jira to manage and communicate project progress and deliverables • Support cloud data initiatives and ensure best practices in ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and architecture on platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, or Azure Data Lake Skills: • SQL & Data Profiling: Expert-level ability to query, analyze, and validate complex datasets • Cloud Data Platforms: Hands-on experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, or Azure Data Lake • ETL/ELT & Data Modeling: Familiar with data transformation pipelines and dimensional modeling • BI & Visualization Tools: Proficient with Tableau, Power BI, or Looker for data storytelling and dashboards • Communication & Presentation: Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to present strategy, execution, and outcomes clearly • Project Tools: Experience with Jira and Agile methodologies Experience: • Proven experience as a Lead or Senior Data Analyst in enterprise-level environments • Demonstrated ability to bridge technical data solutions with business requirements and strategic goals • Successful track record of delivering high-impact insights and recommendations through data storytelling Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field • Master’s degree preferred but not required
