Lead Data Analyst
Hybrid- Miami, FL
Hourly Pay Range: $50-55/Hour
Our clientβs team has an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst reporting to the Manager, Onboard Revenue Analytics & Data Science.
Position Overview
The Data Analyst, Onboard Revenue Analytics will support revenue growth initiatives for strategy teams through data analysis, reporting, and actionable insights.
This role will focus on building and maintaining dashboards, supporting forecasting efforts, enhancing reporting automation, and partnering with business teams to inform pricing, promotional, and inventory strategies. The analyst will collaborate cross-functionally with IT, data engineering, and business stakeholders to support data migration efforts and the evolution of onboard revenue reporting capabilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
β’ Analyze performance and provide data-driven insights to support pricing, promotional, and inventory decisions.
β’ Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions to replace legacy reporting tools (e.g., Hyperion).
β’ Support data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance efforts during system migrations (e.g., Oracle to cloud-based data platforms).
β’ Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from corporate data systems.
β’ Assist in developing new data objects and reporting capabilities as new reservation systems are implemented.
β’ Support forecasting and benchmarking analyses to improve revenue predictability and business planning accuracy.
β’ Partner with teams to understand business challenges and provide analytical support for strategic initiatives.
β’ Evaluate performance of pricing strategies and online promotions, identifying trends and opportunities for optimization.
β’ Assist with automation of recurring reporting processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
β’ Respond to ad-hoc data requests and present findings in a clear, business-friendly format.
β’ Ensure data integrity, governance, and compliance standards are upheld across reporting outputs.
β’ Stay current on analytics tools and methodologies to continuously improve reporting and analytical capabilities.
Qualifications and Education
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
β’ 2β3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, financial analysis, or related analytical role
β’ Experience working with revenue, pricing, inventory, or performance analytics preferred
β’ Experience in cruise, hospitality, travel, or similar industry is a plus
Technical Skills
β’ Strong proficiency in SQL (required)
β’ Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools (Tableau, Looker, etc.)
β’ Working knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
β’ Familiarity with Python or other scripting tools is a plus
β’ Exposure to cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) or ETL tools is a plus

β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
β’ Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights
β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills
β’ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
