Lead Data Engineer

The Role • Design, build, and support modern data platforms, focusing on Databricks and cloud-based data engineering. • Lead the migration of legacy Oracle systems to scalable, cloud-native environments. • Support the organization's data strategy, particularly in Finance and Regulatory domains. • Ensure high-quality, reliable data pipelines and models for analytics and reporting. • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and coaching to the data engineering team. • Collaborate with Technology, Architecture, and Business teams across the organization. What You'll Need • Proven experience in designing and developing Data Marts using Databricks (SQL / Python). • Strong understanding of engineering best practices including version control, CI/CD, and orchestration. • Expertise in leading and coordinating data migration from Oracle to cloud data platforms. • Ability to define strategies for retiring legacy ETLs and implementing cloud-native solutions. • Experience in collaborating with DBAs, business SMEs, and architects to ensure data integrity. • Excellent communication skills to translate complex technical decisions to stakeholders.
