Direct applicants only. • • 2 openings | Contract | Full-time capacity Start: August 17, 2026 End: December 18, 2026 Rate: $60–$90/hour (W2, C2C, or 1099) We are hiring two Lead/Senior Data Engineers for a high-visibility Google Cloud initiative focused on building modern relational and semantic data layers within a medallion architecture. This is a hands-on opportunity to shape engineering standards while helping deliver a sophisticated, cloud-native data platform. What You’ll Do • Lead technical design and establish reusable data pipeline patterns. • Build complex data pipelines and semantic layers using GCP and BigQuery. • Define development standards and review work completed across the delivery pod. • Coordinate with platform, graph, semantic, and broader engineering teams. • Contribute directly to hands-on development and technical problem-solving. What We’re Looking For • Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery. • Experience designing relational and semantic data models. • Background building modern data platforms using medallion architecture. • Strong data engineering, pipeline development, and technical leadership skills. • Experience with the broader GCP data and AI services ecosystem. • BigQuery Graph or graph-data experience is highly preferred.
