Lead Data Engineer with Java Programming Exp

Job Summary (List Format) • Lead Data Engineer with strong client-facing skills required. • Expertise in database design and development using PostgreSQL and Snowflake. • Hands-on experience in Java programming, microservices architecture, and RESTful API development/consumption. • Responsible for designing and developing scalable, high-performance data solutions. • Build and optimize data models, schemas, and queries for analytics and processing. • Develop and integrate Java-based APIs and microservices across enterprise systems. • Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders; participate in requirement discussions, solution design, and project updates. • Provide technical leadership and guidance to offshore teams, ensuring quality and timely deliveries. • Support onsite coordination including issue resolution, design decisions, and governance. • Implement best practices for data governance, security, and performance tuning. • Experience with data catalog and metadata management tools is a plus. • Preference for candidates with fintech/payments domain experience. • Requires strong communication, stakeholder management, and ability to work in a hybrid onsite–offshore model.
