Our client is a leading U.S. financial institution headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, operating an extensive branch and ATM network across multiple states. The organization is a Fortune 500 company and one of the largest banks in the United States, with a history dating back to the early twentieth century.
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $85.00 to $95.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities
β’ Own the end-to-end technical design of Salesforce migration pipelines, including load strategy, dependency sequencing, staging architecture, and data quality controls.
β’ Serve as the primary technical decision-maker for mapping logic, transformation patterns, validation strategies, and DataStage or Python ETL design.
β’ Provide guidance, reviews, and sign-off on mapping documents, data cleansing rules, and ETL workflows produced by engineers.
β’ Oversee and coordinate profiling, mapping, extraction, transformation, cleansing, mock runs, remediation, final load, and post-load reconciliation.
β’ Lead the creation of repeatable migration templates including mapping patterns, validation scripts, transformation libraries, and reconciliation frameworks.
β’ Troubleshoot complex DataStage ETL issues, load failures, and Salesforce API constraints.
β’ Partner with Salesforce architects on object load order, relationship handling, and platform constraints.
β’ Work with business SMEs to validate mapping logic, resolve data issues, and approve reconciliation reports.
β’ Coordinate across Salesforce, infrastructure, release management, and governance teams to align dependencies and cutover planning.
β’ Define and enforce data validation rules, DQ acceptance thresholds, rejection criteria, and reconciliation metrics.
β’ Ensure compliance with metadata, lineage, audit, and regulatory standards.
β’ Drive defect management for mock runs and ensure timely root-cause resolution.
β’ Oversee and approve the migration runbook, including workflows, controls, schedules, rollback strategies, and support procedures.
β’ Mentor developers and analysts on transformation logic, debugging, and best practices in migration engineering.
β’ Provide decision authority on defect triage and remediation and lead final production load execution and verification.
Experience Requirements
β’ Expert-level experience designing and overseeing ETL workflows using IBM DataStage.
β’ Advanced SQL skills including performance tuning, complex joins, windowing, and large-volume optimization.
β’ Strong Python skills for automation, validation scripting, data corrections, and transformation logic.
β’ Deep experience with mapping, cleansing, deduplication, validation, and reconciliation for large datasets.
β’ Strong command of data governance including DQ rules, lineage, controls, and audit requirements.
β’ Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model including objects, relationships, lookups, constraints, and metadata.
β’ Experience leading migrations using Data Loader, Bulk API, or other Salesforce ingestion tooling.
β’ Experience designing load ordering strategies and resolving hierarchical or relational dependencies.
β’ Proven experience leading data migration workstreams or teams.
β’ Ability to drive technical decisions and mentor engineers.
β’ Strong communication and stakeholder alignment skills.
β’ Experience in banking, regulatory, or compliance-driven data migrations (preferred).
β’ Experience with nCino (preferred).
β’ Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Azure, or AWS for staging or pre-processing (preferred).
β’ Familiarity with CI/CD for scheduling DataStage or ETL pipelines (preferred).

β’ Bachelorβs degree or equivalent experience.
