We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Data Engineer (13+ years) to drive technical leadership within our Technology & Data organization. This is a senior individual contributor role combining deep expertise in data engineering and analytics engineering, with a strong focus on scalable data platforms and high-quality data solutions.
Primary Skills:
• Snowflake, DBT Cloud
• Advanced Data Modeling (Data Vault, Dimensional Modeling)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Secondary Skills:
• Fivetran
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead design and development of scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines and data models (conceptual, logical, physical, dimensional).
• Architect and optimize data solutions using Snowflake and dbt for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Define and enforce engineering standards, conduct code reviews, and mentor data engineers.
• Implement data quality, testing, monitoring, and observability frameworks.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with analysts, architects, and business stakeholders.
• Drive agile practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Technical Expertise:
• Strong SQL mastery and query optimization
• Pipeline orchestration (Airflow/dbt/Fivetran)
• Data modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas, Data Vault)
• DevOps & version control (GitHub, Azure DevOps)
• BI enablement (Power BI/Tableau)
