Role description
We have a 12 month contract for a self-driven and analytical Data Engineer with 2–4 years of experience, particularly in SQL development using Teradata and Snowflake. They possess a strong foundation in building and optimizing ETL pipelines, with proven experience in cloud-based environments and tools like Talend or Informatica.
This individual demonstrates strong data analysis and data quality skills, capable of translating complex data requirements into robust, production-ready ETL workflows. They are highly proficient in writing complex SQL queries and investigating data anomalies, with a preference for healthcare data experience.
The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who takes ownership of deliverables with minimal supervision, collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams including data analysts and third-party vendors, and thrives in a service-minded team environment. Strong communication and documentation abilities, combined with a problem-solving mindset and a passion for data integrity, are essential.
• MUST HAVES: Bachelor’s Degree
• 5+ years of Teradata/Snowflake SQL Experience
• Excellent Analytical skills with sound SQL and ETL knowledge
• Problem solving nature with Data experience preferably in HealthCare
• Owning and delivering the project end to end with minimal help
• NICE TO HAVES: Healthcare Experience
• Talend/Informatica ETL or Datawarehouse background with Cloud tools.

• Responsibilities: Manager meeting with employee for first few weeks to make comfortable and then monitor the work week-to-week basis
• Understand data extract requirements from the data analysts
• Build ETL processes Snowflake and Teradata to achieve the desired result
• Analyze the data set requested for and report any data quality or observations with the third-party entity and internal team
• Write complex SQLs to analyze data sets for various standard extracts
• Understand complex data mappings to find issues and help developers to fix the same
• Best candidates will have the must have experience plus Datawarehouse background with cloud tools or Talend/Informatica ETL
• Opportunity to work on cutting edge technologies like Snowflake, Cloud in the Healthcare industry to make a real difference to the people in need
• Performance: Ability to work independently after six weeks of tenure and familiarity with internal systems.
