Lead Data Engineer This is a full-time, hybrid position Deerfield Beach, FL (3 days a week onsite) Manager Notes: • Strong communication and advanced SQL skills are critical for this role • Must have some Azure exposure but expertise is not required à all work will be in their Azure Synapse dedicated SQL pool warehouse JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities: • Design and implement highly scalable and reliable data solutions and certify the accuracy and reliability of data assets in an Agile environment • Integrate legacy and target-system data to support reporting and operational continuity • Optimize and fine-tune data solutions for enhanced efficiency and performance • Help coordinate activities, provide leadership in large projects by: Establishing standards and providing guidance to other Data Engineers / Ensures other Data Engineers are following standards • Provide strategic input and help set direction on data preparation and data modeling practices. • Subject matter expert of ETL tools, pipelines, and performance implication of solutions • Ability to work across and within multiple methodologies / technologies / business domains Qualifications: • 5+ years of SQL in a data-related role • 5+ years of Data Integration and ETL tool experience • Azure cloud platform knowledge preferred • Experience with Agile methodology and Azure DevOps preferred • Experience in the automotive or captive finance industry is a plus • Detail oriented and willing to contribute as a team player • Demonstrates curiosity and sound judgment—asking thoughtful questions when clarity is needed, while confidently executing against defined direction in fast-paced environments • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
