🚀 Lead Data Scientist – On-Site 🕒 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM EST (1-hour lunch | 40 hours/week | No OT or weekend work expected) Innovative and fast-growing U.S. based company in the search for a Lead Data Scientist to join their team on-site in Weston, Florida. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving AI/ML initiatives, mentoring a high-performing team, and aligning data science strategy with core business functions like Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success. 🧠 What You’ll Do • Lead and mentor a team of data scientists in developing scalable AI/ML solutions. • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify data-driven opportunities. • Design and deploy predictive models, statistical analyses, and machine learning algorithms. • Build and maintain robust data pipelines and ensure data quality for modeling. • Oversee the full data science project lifecycle—from ideation to deployment. • Promote data science best practices and drive alignment with business goals. • Stay current with advancements in AI/ML and champion innovation across the org. ✅ Requirements • Master’s in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field. • 7+ years in data science roles, with leadership and mentoring experience. • Proficiency in Python, R, and ML libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch). • Experience with cloud ML tools (AWS, GCP, Azure – e.g., SageMaker, Vertex AI, BigQuery). • Advanced SQL skills, including window functions and CTEs. • Experience working with both relational (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases. • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. • Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for business teams. • Prior experience in a SaaS environment is a plus. ⭐ Nice to Have • Experience with NLP, LLMs, NLU, RAG, or other Generative AI techniques. • Experience using Python libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Dask. • Ability to lead strategic conversations around the business value of AI/ML. • Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM EST (1-hour lunch)
