Role description
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, configure, and enhance Duck Creek Policy modules to meet business requirements.
• Implement custom business rules, forms, and transaction logic using Duck Creek Author.
• Configure policy lifecycle transactions (new business, endorsement, renewal, cancellation, reinstatement, etc.).
• Develop and maintain product definitions, rating algorithms, and workflows.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and QA teams to ensure solutions meet functional and technical needs.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize Duck Creek configurations and integrations.
• Work with Duck Creek tools (Author, Forms, Manuscripts, Scripts, and Debugger).
• Support system integration with external applications (billing, claims, document management, etc.).
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure timely delivery of high-quality deliverables.
• Provide production support and defect resolution as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 3–6+ years of experience in Duck Creek Policy (Authoring, Forms, Manuscripts).
• Strong knowledge of P&C Insurance domain, policy lifecycle, and rating.
• Hands-on experience with Duck Creek Author, Policy, and Tooling.
• Proficiency in .NET, C#, XML, JSON, SQL, Web Services (SOAP/REST).
• Experience with Duck Creek OnDemand (cloud) or On-Prem solutions.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with Duck Creek Billing/Claims (nice to have).
• Knowledge of integration frameworks, API development, and middleware tools.
• Exposure to Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins, or CI/CD pipelines.
• Certification in Duck Creek Policy or related modules.
