Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Guidewire PolicyCenter Lead Developer with 8+ years of experience in Guidewire implementation, configuration, integration, and support. The ideal candidate will lead development activities, provide technical guidance to the team, collaborate with business stakeholders, and deliver high-quality insurance solutions using Guidewire PolicyCenter.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead Guidewire PolicyCenter development and enhancement activities.
• Analyze business requirements and provide technical design solutions.
• Configure and customize PolicyCenter using Gosu, PCF, Data Model, Rules, Workflows, and Product Model.
• Design and develop integrations with internal and external systems using REST/SOAP web services, messaging, and batch processes.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to Guidewire best practices.
• Support release planning, deployment activities, and production issue resolution.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, QA teams, and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership.
• Participate in estimation, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and recommend solutions.

Technical Skills
• Java/J2EE fundamentals.

• Git, Bitbucket, SVN, or similar version control tools.
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Experience with cloud environments is a plus.
Leadership Skills
• Ability to lead a development team.
• Conduct design reviews and code reviews.
• Coordinate with onsite/offshore teams.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Guidewire PolicyCenter Certified Professional/Developer.
• Experience with InsuranceSuite upgrades and cloud implementations.
• Experience in Personal Lines or Commercial Lines Insurance.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
