Lead Python Developer

Position Title: Lead Python Developer Position Location: Pittsburgh, PA & Other Tech Hubs - Hybrid, 3 days in office, 2 remote Days of the week: M-F 40 hours Working Hours: M-F 8-5 EST, Some flexibility can be discussed Intended length of Assignment: 1-year contract to hire Only on W2 Industry Background: Financial and Lockbox industry background preferred Team Dynamic: Run the Bank (7 people) and change the bank teams (5 people). This person would be looking more towards changing the bank side, but both teams do overlap. Three other developers, 2 system matter experts, a person who helps manage client policies and keeps things moving, and a scrum master Roles and Responsibilities: • Per job description • Writing code application for optimization of Lockbox Applications • Networking/Hardware knowledge • Supporting team or other developers with processes, questions • Need someone who is a self-starter, can work independently, but also knows when to speak up. Must Have Technical Skills: • Unix shell commands • Perl • Python • SQL • Lockbox Flex Skills/Nice to Have: • Windows Server • Mainframe Cobol Soft Skills: • Team player • Collaboration • Independent, self-starter, able to provide questions or statuses • Communication – Written and Verbal Education/Certifications: The Manager will look at experience instead of education Role Differentiator: In Lockbox, we are not cookie-cutter; we try to look out of the box, catering to the clients and innovating to make us stand out from others that are doing lockbox.
