Role Description This is a contract role for a Lead Senior Data Engineer located on-site in Oakland, CA. The Lead Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines, modeling complex data structures, and ensuring efficient ETL processes. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing data warehousing initiatives, and conducting data analytics to support business decisions. Key things Python, Pyspark, AWS Need a SME in Python coding (Data structures and algorithms) Need to Support the applications of 50% as L3/L4 Qualifications • Strong skills in Data Engineering and Data Modeling • 12+ years of advanced working knowledge of SQL, Python, and PySpark • Proficiency in Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes • Experience with Data Warehousing • Competency in Data Analytics • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills • Ability to work on-site in Oakland, CA • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred • Experience with cloud-based data platforms is a plus
