We are seeking an experienced Lead Snowflake Engineer to oversee our clients data engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Snowflake, DBT, SQL, AWS, and Azure, with a focus on financial data management. This role involves leading data initiatives, mentoring team members, and ensuring the successful implementation of data solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
β’ Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of data engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
β’ Snowflake Expertise: Design, implement, and optimize Snowflake data warehousing solutions to support business needs.
β’ DBT Development: Utilize DBT to build and maintain robust data transformation workflows, ensuring data integrity and quality.
β’ SQL Proficiency: Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
β’ Cloud Integration: Leverage AWS and Azure services to enhance data solutions, ensuring efficient data storage and processing.
β’ Financial Data Management: Collaborate with finance teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions that meet regulatory and reporting standards.
β’ Performance Monitoring: Establish monitoring and alerting systems to track data pipeline performance and address issues proactively.
β’ Best Practices: Define and promote best practices for data governance, security, and compliance across the organization.

Qualifications:
