Job Title: Lead Splunk Engineer
Only W2 no Corp to Corp
Location: REMOTE
Duration: Long Term Contract
Job Responsibilities:
Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Splunk environment.
Manage Splunk infrastructure, including indexers, search heads, and forwarders.
Develop and maintain Splunk dashboards, reports, and alerts.
Monitor Splunk performance and troubleshoot issues.
Implement and maintain Splunk security best practices.
Collaborate with other teams to integrate Splunk with other systems.
Provide training and support to Splunk users.
Stay up-to-date on the latest Splunk features and technologies.
Mentor and guide junior team members.
Administer Cribl LogStream environment.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
5+ years of experience working with Splunk.
Strong understanding of Splunk architecture and components.
Experience with Splunk administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in developing Splunk dashboards, reports, and alerts.
Experience with Splunk security best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with Cribl LogStream is highly desirable.
Proven leadership skills and experience managing a team.
