Lead TypeScript Developer

Role: Lead TypeScript Developer Location: Peoria, IL (Hybrid) Duration: Long-Term Contract Experience: 7+ Years Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Lead TypeScript Developer to support a high-visibility, enterprise-level AI initiative with significant business impact. This role will lead the design, development, and delivery of modern web applications while working closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong front-end engineering expertise, leadership capabilities, and a passion for building scalable, high-performance applications. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 7+ years of software development experience. • Strong hands-on experience with modern front-end technologies, including: • React 19 • TypeScript 5 • Vite 6 • TailwindCSS 4 • TanStack Router and Query • Zustand 5 • Web Components / Lit 3 • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to work independently and succeed in ambiguous, fast-paced environments. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities. • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to ownership, delivery, and quality. • Adaptable mindset with a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Node.js, NGINX, Redux, GitHub, and Docker. • Experience working on AI-enabled applications or enterprise-scale web platforms. • Familiarity with Progressive Web Applications and API-driven architectures. Key Responsibilities • Lead the design, development, and implementation of modern web applications using Agile methodologies. • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions. • Develop new application features and enhance existing functionality using clean, maintainable, and efficient code. • Build and maintain Progressive Web Applications integrated with APIs and AI orchestration platforms. • Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote engineering best practices. • Utilize automated testing frameworks to ensure application quality, reliability, and performance. • • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and deliver innovative, practical solutions. • • Contribute to architectural decisions, technical strategy, and overall development standards for the team.
