Job Title: LeapWork Test Scripting Specialist Location: Hybrid – 3 days onsite (Annapolis, MD) & 2 days remote (within the U.S.) Duration: 5 years Job Summary The client is seeking a highly skilled LeapWork Test Scripting Specialist to support its Quality Assurance team in testing diverse applications. The specialist will design, develop, and deploy LeapWork test scripts, mentor QA staff, and ensure efficient and scalable automation solutions that align with ITIL best practices. The role requires both technical expertise and the ability to collaborate in a hybrid environment. Key Responsibilities β€’ Plan, design, script, and deploy LeapWork test automation for client applications. β€’ Perform configuration and development activities in LeapWork according to AOC requirements. β€’ Train and mentor QA staff on effective LeapWork practices and knowledge transfer. β€’ Provide leadership and guidance on LeapWork test scripting and ITIL best practices. β€’ Develop test scenarios, documentation, and detailed automation logic. β€’ Create and maintain manual and automated test scripts. β€’ Troubleshoot automation issues, document resolutions, and generate execution reports. β€’ Build LeapWork frameworks based on prioritized test cases and support framework reusability. β€’ Create user training materials for ongoing automation maintenance and scalability. β€’ Collaborate with project teams using Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies. β€’ Support new, existing, or rebranded modules as required. Required Qualifications β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. β€’ Valid LeapWork Test Automation Certification (earned within the last 3 years). β€’ Proven ability to develop and document QA test scripts, flows, and processes. Preferred Skills & Experience β€’ 10+ years of QA experience including requirements analysis, scenario design, and QA tool development. β€’ 8+ years of experience in IT development environments (cloud and on-premise solutions). β€’ At least 3 LeapWork test scripting engagements within the past 36 months. β€’ Experience with ServiceNow or other tracking tools. β€’ Hands-on expertise with automation tools (LeapWork, Selenium, Silk Test, Rational Functional Tester). β€’ Strong knowledge of: β€’ Testing methodologies and best practices β€’ SQL (basic level) β€’ Web and desktop applications β€’ Data-driven automation and reusable sub-flows β€’ Automation control, scheduling, reporting, and dashboards β€’ Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies β€’ Gap analysis and process improvement β€’ Ability to work effectively in a hybrid, team-oriented environment.
