Job Description:
The Client Research Laboratories (LRL) Learning and Development (LRL L&D) Contractor, Learning Insights & Data Analytics role supports the implementation, maintenance, and advancement of data visualization dashboards, metrics reporting, and data architecture within LRL L&D. Working closely with the Data Metrics Strategy Lead and Technology Lead, this contractor will leverage modern data analytics and engineering tools to create compelling, story-driven dashboards that demonstrate business impact and support data-driven decision making. This role requires cross-functional collaboration with other Learning and Development groups and technology teams to implement enterprise-wide analytics solutions.

Dashboard Development & Maintenance
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for learning metrics reporting that tell cohesive stories and demonstrate business impact.
Design modern, visually compelling metrics dashboards using current data visualization best practices.
Support and enhance existing LRL L&D Learning Dashboards in Smartsheet.
Ensure dashboard reliability, data accuracy, and optimal performance.
Create documentation and user guides for dashboard consumers.
Data Engineering & Architecture Support
Maintain and optimize current data technology sources and data pipelines.
Support data mapping and data engineering initiatives to build LRL L&D data architecture.
Work with Microsoft Fabric to incorporate enterprise data into Power BI solutions.
Develop and maintain DAX queries and data models for advanced analytics.
Collaborate with enterprise data teams to ensure alignment with organizational data strategies.
Learning Metrics & Analytics
Provide data analytics to demonstrate performance outcomes of learning solutions developed within LRL L&D.
Support the L&D metrics and course evaluation strategy implementation team with technologies such as SCORM, AICC, and xAPI.
Develop metrics frameworks that align with human performance technology principles.
Create analytics solutions that support skill-based assessment initiatives and competency tracking.
Technical Consultation & Support
Consult with L&D team members on best practices for data visualization and metrics reporting.
Provide recommendations for technology-based analytics solutions to enhance learning initiatives.
Support key initiatives within the Learning Process and Technology team as assigned.
Collaborate with internal teams and IT partners to implement data solutions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Learning Technology Support
Work closely with the Data Metrics Strategy Lead to align dashboard development with organizational metrics priorities.
Collaborate with other Learning and Development groups across Client to implement shared analytics solutions.
Partner with enterprise technology teams to ensure alignment with corporate data standards and infrastructure.
Support learning technology project implementations by providing analytics expertise and consultation.
Leverage LMS reporting capabilities, particularly SuccessFactors Learning, to extract and visualize learning data.
AI-Enabled Analytics Solutions
aLeverage AI tools (Microsoft Copilot, Claude) to enhance data analysis and reporting capabilities.
Develop AI-powered analytics solutions to improve data processing and insights generation.
cExplore and recommend emerging technologies to enhance learning analytics.
Quals--
Bachelor's degree or higher in Data Analytics, Data Science, Business Intelligence, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related programs
3+ years demonstrated expertise in Power BI dashboard development including DAX language programming
Experience with modern data engineering tools and practices (Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, or similar)
Proven track record designing metrics dashboards that demonstrate business impact
Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data architecture principles
Strong portfolio demonstrating ability to create visually compelling, story-driven dashboards
Experience implementing or supporting learning technology projects
Other Information/Additional Preferences:
M.S. degree in Data Science, Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related field
Self-starter with passion for data visualization, analytics, and continual improvement
Experience with LMS reporting and administration, particularly SAP SuccessFactors Learning
Experience with human performance technology tools or skill-based assessment platforms (e.g., Workera)
Experience developing solutions with current AI technologies (Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT)
Working knowledge of and/or experience in a regulated pharmaceutical environment
