Position : Legal IT Product Owner (IP rights analysis and contract review and Right Management) Location : Los Angeles, CA- Onsite from Day 1 Experience : 10+ Years Type of Job : Contract : 12 Months Lead the implementation and ongoing stewardship of a rights and contract management system for Apple TV's Legal department. This Product Owner role focuses on managing complex intellectual property rights, restrictions, and contract data while serving as the primary liaison between Legal stakeholders and the development team. Required Qualifications 3-5+ years in Product Owner, Project Manager, or Senior Business Analyst role 3+ years hands-on experience with Agile development teams 3+ years collaborating with designers and engineers 5+ years enterprise software custom design, development, implementation, and deployment 5-7+ years leading cross-functional teams in IP rights analysis and contract review 5+ years hands-on experience with rights attributes (Rights In/Out, Restrictions, Options, Holdbacks, Music Clearance, Play Off/Sell Off data) 3+ years developing/implementing rights or licensing systems with complex rights research capabilities Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in fast-paced environments Experience with system integrations, data conversions, and reporting Key Responsibilities Convert business requirements into features and user stories; represent customer needs on the Scrum team Manage product backlog prioritization based on business value; adjust features every sprint as needed Decide on release dates and coordinate deployment of new systems and feature extensions Manage current rights management products, contract management, and document workflow systems Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) with stakeholders and perform sprint demos Train end users and provide error handling guidelines Collaborate daily with development teams, designers, and business stakeholders to define system solutions Evaluate strategic options and recommend long and short-term product strategies Preferred Qualifications Prior experience with rights management software platforms (RightsLogic, RightsLine, Filmtrack) GenAI tool implementation experience Understanding of global corporate business processes
