Role description
Responsibilities Kforce is seeking a level 2 Support Analyst in Delray Beach, FL. The Level 2 Support is a liaison position with the objective of integrating application systems to meet the needs of operations and accounting. The Analyst must utilize expertise in systems and accounting as well as have the aptitude to understand operations to be successful. Responsibilities: β€’ Provide user support for accounting and operating application systems β€’ Develop custom systematic and ad-hoc financial, audit, or analytical reports upon request for operations, accounting, and management β€’ Maintain integrity and controls of application systems and identify potential weaknesses (i.e. job cost/GL code mapping) β€’ Provide processing support for various activities (i.e. project/phase/lot setups, periodic recurring processes, budget/inventory uploads) β€’ Develop and maintain resource tools, databases, and templates for accounting and operations (i.e. job cost reports, blackbooks, consolidated financial tiered reports, closing templates, payroll templates, land database, etc.) β€’ Maintain systems integration with proformas for all divisions β€’ Analyze, research, troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies or inconsistencies with accounting and operations β€’ Write SQL ad hoc queries for reporting needs β€’ Build VBA programs for both Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel β€’ Work within SQL Server and Microsoft Access databases β€’ Data analysis and assessment of database infrastructure β€’ Creation and maintenance of management dashboards within Business Intelligence software Requirements β€’ Bachelor's degree in a related field from a four-year college or university program and at least three years of related experience β€’ Experience with Newstar accounting system and/or BuildPro homebuilding system is a plus β€’ Strong background in SQL and reporting (excel, a data visualization tool i.e. Tableau or Power BI) β€’ Excellent analytical and reporting skills β€’ Excellent computer and problem-solving skills β€’ Exceptional skill in Excel including pivots, advanced formula writing and ODBC SQL queries β€’ Able to create and maintain report designs in Access and/or SSRS β€’ Knowledge and understanding of GAAP accounting β€’ Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy β€’ Ability to multi-task successfully and respond to internal/external customers in a timely manner β€’ Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative β€’ Experience using Business Intelligence/Data Visualization software (Power BI, Tableau, Dundas BI) The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
