We are seeking a specialized LiDAR Analyst responsible for creating detailed 3D models and deriving actionable insights from LiDAR data. This role supports critical infrastructure planning and natural resource management projects, contributing significantly to data accuracy and quality.
1. Required Skills and Experience
• Expert in Point Cloud Data processing and analysis.
• Proficient with LiDAR software: LAStools, TerraScan, CloudCompare.
• Experience generating Digital Elevation Models (DEMs, DSMs, DTMs).
• Demonstrated skill in Feature extraction from point clouds.
• Understanding of LiDAR acquisition principles (airborne/mobile).
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a LiDAR Analyst.
• Strong ability to deliver geospatial products and reports in collaboration with project teams.
1. Desired Skills and Experience
• Knowledge of GIS tools and data integration.
• Experience in natural resource management applications.
• Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python).
• Certification in GIS or remote sensing is preferred.
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks impacting LiDAR data use.
1. Preferred Qualifications
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.
• Background in environmental science or urban planning.
