Position Overview We are seeking a LiveAction Engineer to support network performance monitoring and security operations for critical U.S. government systems. This role requires expertise in deploying, managing, and optimizing LiveAction’s network performance monitoring and analytics (NPM/APM) tools to provide real-time visibility into complex, multi-domain government networks. The ideal candidate will work closely with cybersecurity, network, and system engineering teams to ensure operational resilience and mission continuity. --- Key Responsibilities · Deploy and configure LiveNX appliances across diverse environments (cloud, on-premise, hybrid). · Maintain and optimize network telemetry collection (NetFlow, SNMP, packet capture) and ensure accurate data visualization. · Design and maintain dashboards for network health, application performance, and security insights. · Integrate LiveAction solutions with SIEMs, orchestration tools, and other monitoring platforms. · Conduct root-cause analysis of performance bottlenecks, latency, and packet loss across large-scale networks. · Create custom reports and alerts for performance metrics, compliance monitoring, and capacity planning. · Assist in the implementation of network segmentation and zero-trust architectures using LiveAction insights. · Support accreditation and compliance efforts including RMF, FISMA, FedRAMP, and DoD standards. · Train and mentor operations staff and develop documentation for standard operating procedures. · Provide Tier 2/3 support for incident response and troubleshooting. --- Required Qualifications · U.S. Citizenship · Active Secret · Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. · 3+ years of hands-on experience with LiveAction tools (LiveNX, LiveWire, LiveSensor). · In-depth knowledge of network protocols, routing/switching, QoS, and application flow analysis. · Familiarity with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, and other enterprise-grade networking solutions. · Strong understanding of LAN/WAN architectures, VPNs, and cloud networking (AWS, Azure Gov, etc.). · Experience working in government-regulated environments with an understanding of cybersecurity frameworks. --- Preferred Qualifications · LiveAction product certifications (e.g., LiveAction Certified Professional). · Experience integrating LiveAction with Splunk, Elastic, or other SIEMs. · Familiarity with packet-level analysis tools like Wireshark or Riverbed. · Experience with scripting and automation (Python, Ansible, PowerShell). · Prior experience supporting agencies such as DoD, DHS, VA, or IC Job Types: Full-time, Contract Pay: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance Work Location: Remote
