Job Description We are seeking a Lockbox Application Analyst to join our team within Payment and Deposit Operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in process flow, data reporting, Excel, and SQL tables and queries and a proven ability to develop procedures, execute testing, and support Lockbox applications and related processes. Experience with Lockbox and banking is preferred. Responsibilities: • Create, edit, and test application and operational procedures for Lockbox Operations and Support. • Write and execute test scripts for operational testing of applications in process improvement projects. • Perform business analysis for payment and deposit applications across mainframe, PC, distributed, database, and web-based systems. • Mine data from primary and secondary sources using SQL, including complex joins across multiple datasets. • Provide ongoing production support, act as first-line contact for user inquiries, and manage incident reporting, tracking, resolution, root cause analysis, and preventive measures. • Deliver quality support and service to internal and external partners and clients. • Participate in and guide Lockbox application and process initiatives and projects. • Translate business needs and requirements to Technology partners and translate technical materials to operational stakeholders. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 2+ years in an operational or support environment. • Proficiency in Excel and SQL for data analysis, reporting, and complex queries; familiarity with databases and technology-based tools such as Access. • Strong analytical and decision-making skills with attention to detail in documenting and implementing requirements. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate concisely with senior management. • Ability to manage change, prioritize tasks, and resolve ambiguous issues through research and collaboration. • Strong interpersonal, influencing, and relationship-building skills; works well in a team-based environment. Preferred Skills: • 1-2 years of Operational Analyst experience, preferably in Lockbox or banking environments. • Experience with Windows systems and software; proficiency with Excel features such as pivot tables and data visualization. • Familiarity with Jira for tracking requirements, defects, and test execution.
