Looker Developer (SQL, LookML, Snowflake)

Summary We are seeking a Looker Developer to design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions that provide actionable insights across the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience with data modeling, SQL, dashboard development, and data visualization. Responsibilities • Design and develop Looker dashboards, reports, and data visualizations. • Create and maintain LookML models and data definitions. • Write and optimize SQL queries against data warehouses. • Work with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements. • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance. • Integrate Looker with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, or BigQuery. • Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize dashboard performance. • Develop KPI and executive-level reporting solutions. • Collaborate with data engineers and application development teams. Required Skills • 3+ years of experience with Looker. • Strong SQL skills. • Experience with LookML development. • Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift. • Understanding of data warehousing concepts. • Experience building executive dashboards and self-service analytics. • Strong communication and business analysis skills. Preferred Skills • Experience with Python or ETL tools. • Knowledge of data governance and security. • Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Microsoft Azure. • Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau or Microsoft Power BI.
