Job Description
The client is looking for a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Intelligence (formerly Datorama) Architect to design, build, and scale our marketing analytics foundation. The Architect will own data modeling, harmonization, and dashboard configuration end-to-endβconnecting complex, high-volume datasets to deliver trustworthy insights that drive decisions. Experience in the healthcare industry a plus.
Responsibilities
β’ Architect and implement Marketing Cloud Intelligence workspaces, data models, and calculated dimensions/measures
β’ Configure advanced dashboards, widgets, and visualizations tailored to executive, marketing, and channel owners
β’ Ingest, normalize, and harmonize large multi-source datasets (media, CRM, web, email/SMS, call center, cost, revenue)
β’ Build robust data pipelines using API connectors, custom connectors, and ETL logic to ensure scale and reliability
β’ Define and enforce data governance, naming standards, and version control across datasets and dashboards
β’ Establish KPI frameworks and attribution approaches; translate business questions into technical metrics and logic
β’ Optimize performance for high-volume datasets, including partitioning, caching, and query tuning
β’ Implement QA processes for data accuracy, schema changes, release management, and regression testing
Requirements
β’ 5+ years in marketing analytics or marketing data engineering with 3+ years focused on Salesforce Marketing Cloud Intelligence (Datorama)
β’ Proven expertise configuring MCI datasets, calculated fields, data streams, harmonization, and dashboard design at enterprise scale
β’ Strong SQL and data modeling skills; comfort with ETL concepts and API-based integrations
β’ Demonstrated ability to parse, profile, and troubleshoot very large, messy datasets and resolve data quality issues
β’ Business acumen across performance marketing, lifecycle/CRM, and measurement fundamentals (KPI design, attribution)
β’ Excellent stakeholder communication; ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable insights
Preferred Requirements
β’ Experience in healthcare, payer/provider, pharma, or life sciences
β’ Familiarity with HIPAA, HITRUST, PHI handling, and privacy-by-design practices
β’ Exposure to claims, eligibility, EMR/EHR, or patient acquisition journeys and related consent/preferences models
