Job Description Our Fortune 100 financial services client is seeking a Loyalty Analytics Analyst to serve as a subject matter expert in credit card loyalty programs. This role supports the Loyalty team to deliver high quality, sustainable loyalty card program features and benefits to guests. This individual contributor role will manage analytical projects to support loyalty program growth and engagement metrics, and the individual will manage financial data analysis and reporting for operational performance, product, and feature development. What You’ll Do β€’ Lead analyses for Mileage Plan program initiatives, including new product or feature launches, product or market tests, and historical data analyses to support recommendations. β€’ Perform complex analysis to inform optimal program design and structure decisions. β€’ Manage the analysis and preparation of business reporting in conjunction with Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and Loyalty Accounting on the monthly loyalty Profit and Loss (P&L) (e.g., forecasting, identifying resulting variances, conducting analyses, and formulating recommendations). β€’ Automate ETL workflows to support Loyalty programs and promotions. β€’ Mine for customer insights and recommend optimizations across lifecycle programs, offers, and channels to grow guest loyalty. β€’ Model and forecast costs of loyalty offers, elite benefits, and incentives in collaboration with loyalty principals; develop reporting to track performance vs. forecast. β€’ Develop and implement forecasting tools as well as commercial and operational dashboards leveraged by operational managers, channel/product owners, and vendor partners to manage the business. β€’ Develop reports, PowerPoints presentations, and dashboards on an ad-hoc basis to support the business as assigned. β€’ Proactively drive analysis to inform annual budgeting and planning. β€’ Analyze data for new and maturing product/service initiatives and conduct competitive benchmarking. Qualifications Required Qualifications: β€’ 4+ years of experience in data analysis or financial analytics roles within aviation, e-commerce, technology, hospitality, marketing, or a loyalty-related area. β€’ Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Computer Science, or Technical Degree (Engineering), or an additional two years of relevant training/experience in lieu of relevant degree. β€’ Strong communication skills (e.g., verbal, written, and listening) with an ability to communicate clearly and concisely to both internal and external stakeholders. β€’ Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) β€’ Proficiency in database querying or business intelligence tools such as Structured Query language (SQL), Alteryx, Toad, Tableau β€’ Advanced experience in Excel and ability to work with data analysis tools, statistical/reference formulas, and pivot tables. β€’ Detail-oriented and highly organized, with ability to multi-task and work independently. Preferred Qualifications β€’ Knowledge of loyalty program and co-brand credit card mechanics. β€’ Demonstrated ability to drive significant impact on products, services, or financial performance with data-driven recommendations. β€’ Experience with Python for data manipulation and analysis β€’ Experience with cloud technologies, Azure, Databricks β€’ Detail-oriented in the delivery of work products and the identification of idiosyncrasies in guest-facing experiences or inconsistencies in data sources. β€’ Experience tracking and reporting on financial and operational performance of consumer-facing products or services. β€’ Proven ability to gather, prepare, blend, and present complex data sets in a compelling and concise format. Additional Information The pay range for this role is $40-45 per hour. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on several factors including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications, training, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range and determining factors for compensation are considered for each individual circumstance.
