Role description
Now Hiring: Machine Learning Data Engineers (2 Roles)
Location: Hybrid 2 days/week in Dallas, TX or Boston, MA
Start Date: ASAP β Active project delivery through year-end
Our client is hiring two Machine Learning Data Engineers to join a high-impact Data Quality Team initiative. This project aims to automate the review of 25,000+ data quality rules currently being handled manually.
Weβre looking for:
β’ 1 Solution Architect (ML Focus) β Experienced in implementing full ML frameworks and end-to-end architecture.
β’ 1 Engineer/Business Analyst Hybrid β To support the lead architect with model development, automation, and data analysis.
Project Overview
β’ Automate manual rule review processes currently handled in Informatica IDQ, with a transition toward Snowflake.
β’ Develop and deploy Machine Learning models to analyze rule pass/fail outcomes.
β’ Increase efficiency and reduce manual effort through intelligent automation.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Design, code, configure, test, and document applications following the companyβs SDLC process.
β’ Prepare technical design specs based on functional and business requirements.
β’ Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and consistency.
β’ Develop and maintain system and operational documentation.
β’ Build and deploy a prototype ML model with a quick turnaround.
β’ (Nice to have) Support API integrations between internal and external systems.
Required Skills & Experience
β’ Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, Snowflake).
β’ Proficient in Python and/or R for data analysis and model development.
β’ Solid understanding of ML/AI programming and modern machine learning frameworks.
β’ Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP (Lambda, S3, Azure Functions, BigQuery, etc.).
β’ Familiar with automation frameworks (Power Automate, Python scripting).
β’ Understanding of data quality, management, and governance principles.
β’ Experience with Web Application Server enhancements and infrastructure standards.
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience with Informatica IDQ.
β’ Familiarity with Snowflake ML libraries or programming extensions.
β’ Experience designing and implementing scalable API integrations.
Soft Skills
β’ Self-motivated and proactive team player.
β’ Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
β’ Able to work independently and meet tight project deadlines.
