Role description
One of the country’s largest entertainment and technology innovators is searching for a Machine Learning Engineer to join their AI Engineering, Computer Vision team in a hybrid capacity onsite in Seattle, WA. Responsibilities • Design and implement advanced generative AI systems for text-to-image, text-to-video, speech synthesis, and voice cloning applications, ensuring robust safety guardrails for character-driven content. • Develop cross-modal content generation platforms that span text, image, video, and audio, enabling multimedia experiences and enhanced accessibility. • Build scalable, real-time generative solutions for interactive environments and IoT, optimizing for low-latency performance. • Develop automated model evaluation frameworks for content quality, safety compliance, and brand alignment, integrating human-in-the-loop assessment where required. • Engineer custom ML pipelines to detect hallucination, measure bias, and benchmark generative models across multi-cloud environments. • Implement state-of-the-art techniques including diffusion models, transformer architectures, adversarial training, prompt engineering, and constitutional AI for responsible content creation. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including security, product, and creative—to deliver production-ready AI infrastructure supporting live marketing, guest experiences, and global customer service. • Lead the creation of real-time monitoring, drift detection, and retraining systems, as well as scalable model serving solutions with automatic load balancing. • Develop marketing-focused content generation engines (e.g., text-to-video, voice synthesis for campaigns), personalized experiences for theme park guests, and accessibility-driven solutions for global audiences. Skills & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related discipline required; advanced academic credentials highly valued. • Professional experience developing and scaling industry ML solutions for media analysis, content creation, or interactive systems. • Knowledge of AI-powered image recognition with an emphasis on CNN translation. • Strong foundation in generative AI frameworks and technologies such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, DeepSpeed, and distributed training. • Proven ability with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS), multi-cloud orchestration, and serving infrastructure (TensorRT, ONNX, TorchServe). • Hands-on proficiency in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker), API development, and cloud data management with vector databases. • Background in reinforcement learning, large-scale distributed model training, and human preference modeling. • Track record of contributions to open-source AI initiatives or published research in generative AI. • Deep understanding of evaluation methods, A/B testing frameworks, and monitoring tools (MLflow, Weights & Biases). • Familiarity with edge AI optimization, real-time inference, and building robust, fault-tolerant ML systems.
