Job Title: Prototype Engineer (Python / Machine Learning) Location:London,UK WorkMode:Hybrid(3daysonsite) ContractType:InsideIR35 Experience: 10+ Years Role Summary We are looking for an experienced Prototype Engineer to design and develop rapid prototypes and proof-of-concepts (PoCs) for data-driven and AI/ML use cases. This role requires strong expertise in Python, machine learning, and SQL, along with the ability to translate business problems into scalable analytical solutions. Key Responsibilities Prototyping & Development • Design and develop rapid prototypes and PoCs using Python • Build and implement machine learning models for structured and unstructured data • Integrate prototypes with APIs, data pipelines, and visualization tools Data & Machine Learning • Perform data analysis, feature engineering, and experimentation • Train, evaluate, and fine-tune ML models • Work with large datasets and optimize model performance Database & SQL • Develop efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis • Work with relational databases to support analytical workflows Collaboration & Problem Solving • Translate business requirements into ML and analytical solutions • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine use cases • Manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities Required Skills & Experience • 10+ years of experience in data engineering / machine learning / prototyping roles • Strong hands-on expertise in Python and Machine Learning • Proficiency in SQL and relational databases • Experience with data analysis, feature engineering, and model evaluation • Familiarity with APIs, data pipelines, and integration tools • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
