Machine Learning Engineer

Job Description – MLOps Engineer @South San Francisco, CA • Must be open to travel onsite once every week, hybrid • Must be open to 1099 contracts with potential CTH. Position Description Job Responsibilities: • Developing, customizing and deploying MLOps services • Prototyping and developing cloud-native architecture solutions for application needs, particularly with AWS • Providing infrastructure-as-code utilizing Terraform and AWS CloudFormation • Perform automation, testing, performance tuning, and tools development • Provisioning and maintaining cloud infrastructure to support software which supports AI/ML applications Requirements: • Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills • Experience in CI/CD pipelines implementation. Deployment automation with CICD tools and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) • Experience with Amazon Web Services e.g. IAM, VPC, API Gateway, NLB, ALB, EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS etc. • Experience with Kubernetes, Helm and Docker containerization • Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting • Understanding of networking and related protocols (HTTP, DNS, TLS, TCP) • Familiarity with designing and building frameworks & services (e.g. Python SDKs, REST or gRPC APIs) Preferred: • Familiarity with ML orchestration frameworks (e.g. Kubeflow, Airflow) • Experience with vector databases and search (e.g. MongoDB Atlas, pgvector) • Experience with using major AI APIs (e.g. OpenAI, Gemini) • Familiarity with common agent frameworks and patterns (e.g. langgraph, llamaindex, ReAct) Best Regards.
