Role description
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and fine-tune Generative AI models (LLMs, transformers) for use cases in the lending/financial domain.
Build and optimize ML pipelines (data ingestion, cleaning, model training, deployment).
Work with lending datasets (credit risk, loan performance, underwriting data, alternative data).
Apply NLP/NLU for automating tasks like loan documentation analysis, chatbots, underwriting decision support.
Collaborate with data engineers to ensure models are production-ready.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and ethical AI practices.
Required Skills:
Hands-on with LLM frameworks (Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, OpenAI API, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
Experience with cloud ML platforms (AWS Sagemaker, Azure ML, GCP Vertex AI).
Proficiency in Python, SQL, PySpark.
Knowledge of MLOps/GenAI Ops (CI/CD for models, monitoring drift).
Prior experience in lending or broader financial services.
