Role description
Responsibilities Kforce has a client in NYC that is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer. Summary: We're looking for a forward-thinking AI Solutions Engineer with deep expertise in Generative AI to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who has transitioned from a software or data background into AI and is passionate about applying cutting-edge technologies in highly regulated industries such as banking or healthcare. The Machine Learning Engineer will work on impactful use cases-like using Gen AI to extract compliance requirements from regulations or summarize audit reports-to help drive intelligent automation and decision-making across the organization. Responsibilities: β€’ Design, build, and deploy AI/ML models with a focus on Generative AI, LangChain, and NLP β€’ Develop solutions that are not tied to a specific LLM, allowing flexibility and innovation β€’ Integrate AI/ML capabilities into existing applications in both batch and real-time environments β€’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI-driven automation and compliance support β€’ Write clean, efficient Python code; Java experience is a plus β€’ Create and maintain detailed documentation including model specs, data dictionaries, and code annotations β€’ Optimize and manage data pipelines using SQL (Hive/PySpark); NoSQL experience is a plus β€’ Leverage GitHub and CI/CD pipelines for streamlined development and deployment β€’ Navigate AI/ML governance processes, especially within regulated environments β€’ Stay current with emerging AI technologies and best practices Requirements β€’ Bachelor's or higher degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field β€’ Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LangChain, NLP, and traditional ML algorithms β€’ Strong understanding of software architecture, AI frameworks, and libraries β€’ Experience in regulated industries (banking or healthcare) is highly preferred β€’ Familiarity with Big Data ecosystems and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus β€’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills β€’ A creative problem-solver who can translate complex regulations into actionable AI solutions β€’ Someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is comfortable working across disciplines β€’ A self-starter who's passionate about responsible AI and its real-world applications The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
