Akkodis is Seeking a Machine Learning Engineer – Medical Imaging as a contractor for the location of Maple Grove MN. It is a contract Position for 12 months. Ideally Looking for a candidate with experience in Medical Device Manufacturing Industry. Pay Range: $40 - $50/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Duties • Develop machine learning models for the AVVIGO+ guidance system. • Organize, clean, and manipulate medical imaging datasets. • Augment datasets to improve model performance. • Train, tune, and validate ML models for classification and segmentation tasks. • Collaborate with other ML scientists, algorithm engineers, and data engineers to achieve project goals. • Create a strong team culture around high expectations & high performance. • In all actions, demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in the engineering, science, or similar discipline. • Experience with image processing machine learning model development. • Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Pandas, Scikit-learn, and Scipy. • 1-4 years of related experience. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with machine learning model development for medical images. • Experience with computer vision. • Experience with GitHub, Python repositories, and/or Docker containers. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
