Machine Learning Engineer

Position: Machine Learning Engineer (Level 2) Experience Required: 3-7 years Contract Duration: 3-6 months (Contract to Hire) Position Summary: We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to design and implement robust AI/ML applications that drive innovation and deliver business insights. In this role, you will collaborate closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to integrate ML capabilities into our products and services, ensuring high performance and scalability. Strong Python programming skills are essential, and prior experience with GCP, Vertex AI, BigQuery, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB is required. Required Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer. • Proficiency in Python. • Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, BigQuery). • Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation. • Experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud, Azure). • Solid understanding of machine learning concepts and workflows. Preferred Qualifications: • Familiarity with Vertex AI and Azure OpenAI. • Experience working with LLMs and RAGs in a production environment. • Knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP). • Experience with Kubernetes (GKE), Docker, and/or DataFlow. • Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Apache Spark, Ray, Dask). • Experience with streaming data technologies (e.g., Apache Kafka, PubSub). • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics, Google Professional Data Engineer) are a plus.
