Machine Learning Engineer | Remote

Work Snapshot Type: Full-time Location: Remote Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week Commission: $60-$90 per hour What You'll Be Doing • Design tasks by turning real ML research ideas into well-defined, multi-step tasks. • Run experiments by implementing changes, running training experiments, and analyzing results. • Explore reinforcement learning ideas, focusing on reward functions and training behavior. • Evaluate models to determine how they handle tasks and identify shortcomings. • Collaborate with researchers and fellow experts to ensure tasks are consistent and rigorous. What We Re Looking For • MSc or PhD in machine learning, computer science, or another STEM field, or equivalent practical experience. • Have strong relevant experience in a research or research-engineering role. • Hands-on experience in training and evaluating ML models and running experiments end-to-end. • Strong familiarity with large language models and their evaluation techniques. • Working proficiency in Python and Git, with comfort in scripting and notebook environments.
