Machine Learning/AI Engineer with Azure

Position: Software Engineer – Machine Learning/AI Engineer Location: Chula Vista, CA (Onsite 3 days/week – Local candidates only) Duration: 3-Month Contract to Hire Pay Rate: $60/hr. on 1099 or $50/hr. on W2 Eligibility: US Citizens and GC Holders Only Role Overview We are seeking a Software Engineer – Machine Learning/AI Engineer with 2–5 years of experience to join our team in Chula Vista, CA. This role involves building and deploying scalable ML/AI solutions within industrial automation and robotics environments. Candidates with more than 6 years of experience will not be considered for this position. This is a hands-on development role, requiring a strong foundation in programming, cloud platforms, and ML/AI integration. The candidate must be local to Chula Vista, CA (no relocation, no remote flexibility). Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning/AI solutions for industrial robotics applications. • Work with Azure Cloud services (Databricks, ML Ops, containerization, orchestration). • Implement and optimize ML pipelines for large-scale data processing and model deployment. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ML/AI solutions into embedded and industrial systems. • Create dashboards and monitoring solutions for ML/AI model performance. • Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of deployed ML solutions. Required Skills & Experience (2–5 Years Only) • Programming: Proficiency in C, C++, Python. • Cloud: Microsoft Azure (Databricks, ML Ops, Data Engineering). • Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes. • Dashboarding: Experience with visualization/reporting tools. • ML/AI: Hands-on experience in developing and deploying ML pipelines. • Certifications: Any relevant Azure certifications preferred. Candidate Profile • Experience Range: 2–5 years (max 6 years, above this will not be considered). • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. • Visa Eligibility: US Citizens or Green Card holders only. (GC-EAD or any other EAD not accepted.) • Location: Must be local to Chula Vista, CA. No relocation provided.
