This role is responsible for establishing structured intake, prioritization, and requirements governance processes that ensure all analytics work is clearly defined, aligned to business objectives, and ready for execution. This role owns requirements governance, intake/prioritization, and stakeholder alignment—ensuring analytics work is clearly defined, business-aligned, and ready for execution. You’ll partner closely with Data Engineering, BI/Reporting, Finance, Sales, and Operations to drive efficiency, reduce rework, and elevate analytics maturity. What You’ll Do Lead and develop a team of Business Analysts (performance, coaching, standards) Own intake, prioritization, and backlog governance for analytics initiatives Standardize BRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria across teams Partner with stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and business outcomes Ensure clean handoff into BI tools (Power BI, Qlik, etc.) Align with Data Engineering on data platform and pipeline initiatives Improve delivery speed, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction Drive visibility into backlog health, KPIs, and team performance What You Bring 8+ years in Business Analysis / Data / Analytics 3+ years leading or mentoring BAs (direct or indirect) Strong experience in enterprise reporting / analytics environments Proven ability to standardize requirements + reduce rework Experience partnering with Data Engineering + BI teams Strong stakeholder presence (Director/VP-level interaction) Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, Analytics, or related field Core Skills Requirements: BRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria Agile: Scrum, backlog management, prioritization Data: SQL, validation, reconciliation, KPI logic Analytics: KPI design, reporting workflows, semantic layers Leadership: facilitation, cross-functional influence Tech Stack (Target Environment) BI Tools: Power BI, Qlik, Tableau Data Platforms: Databricks, Snowflake, Data Lake / Lakehouse Pipelines: ADF, dbt, Fivetran, ETL/ELT Cloud: Azure / AWS Systems: SAP, Salesforce, Workday (ERP/CRM) Nice to Have Experience with enterprise data transformations Background in healthcare, pharma, or regulated environments Experience presenting to senior leadership Interested in hearing more?
