This role is crucial for advancing digital factory processes and will support the department's objective to deliver innovative, sustainable, and scalable solutions for digital factory preparation and simulation. We’re building the future of mobility through innovation, collaboration, and digital transformation. Our Digital Factory initiative is central to this mission—leveraging emerging technologies to streamline production engineering and manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include: • Support implementation of the digital factory roadmap for MFG data and process digitalization. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (ex: Production Engineering, OneTech) and technology partners (ex: AutoDesk, Dassault) to integrate digital tools into existing workflows. • Lead use case development for reality capture, XR visualization, and 3D model federation. • Create and maintain standard processes and data governance policies. • Support cross-functional teams in implementing digital factory solutions. • Communicate KPIs and strategic updates to leadership. DAILY TASKS: • Develop and improve digital factory methods and workflows. • 2D/3D Layout coordination and workflow improvements • 2D/3D Simulation workflow development and improvements • Follow company policies and procedures. • Data processing for point cloud registration REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: • 3+ years of experience in vehicle engineering, CAD systems, manufacturing systems, or digital factory technologies • Experienced in Project Management and Technology evaluations. • Experience implementing digital factory roadmaps for data and process digitalization • Experience developing use cases to capture XR visualizations and 3D model federation • Experience with 2D/3D Layouts and simulations • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience Other Requirements: • Must be able to Travel up to 25% Domestically DESIRED SKILLS: • Experience in process optimization and new process development. • Understanding of process optimization for automotive and industrial sectors. • Understanding of cloud architecture or cloud computing • Planning and Install experience for new equipment • Familiarity with Toyota Business Practices and manufacturing CAD systems • Experience with point cloud data and XR visualization • Background in new model development and production engineering ----------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------- Calance Consultant Benefits Offerings: - EPO/PPO Medical Plans - HMO/PPO Dental programs - Vision - VSP (Vision Plan Summary) - 401K Retirement vesting program (VOYA) - Paid Bi-Weekly/Direct Deposit - Flex Spending Plan - Voluntary Life, AD&D, STD or LTD plans
