Market Automation and Quality Assurance Contractor

The largest regional transmission organizations in the United States is actively seeking a Markets Automation and Quality Assurance Contractor to join their dynamic team. It is a 12-month contract, hybrid schedule Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm in the Audubon, PA location. The candidate will be required to be onsite 2 days a week, so local candidates are required. As the Markets Automation and Quality Assurance Contractor, one’s primary function will be to identify and automate manual processes within the Market Operations groups and build and support tools that support Market Operations. Required Skills & Experience • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, Software Engineering or equivalent experience. • At least 2-3 years of experience • Programming skills: .NET, C#, PL/SQL, Windows Presentation Framework (WPF), experience with Object oriented design Preferred Tech Skills • REST API, Python, SAS, VBA , Experience with asynchronous programming, GIT Lab, Tableau, Windows Services, Familiarity with PJM Change Control process, SQL Tuning, Data Science include Machine Learning / AI What You Will Be Doing Daily Responsibilities: • Adapt Market Tools to meet changing requirements of business owners and comply with FERC regulations and update supporting documentation. • Design and automate processes to support Market Operations. • Partner with ITS and appropriate parties to coordinate efforts and ultimately provide a solution which is best for PJM. • Research, review and evaluate newer technologies on behalf of Market automation and design. • Understand the technological requests and needs (hardware and software) of the Market Design and Market Operations departments as process improvements are developed and new markets changes are designed and implemented.
