Role description
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Maidenhead (Hybrid - 3 days on-site, 2 days from home)
Salary: Upto £55,000 per annum
At Dignity, we are building a highly technical, insight-led in-house marketing function designed to drive growth across our brands and improve the end-of-life experience for families nationwide. This role is an early and important step in that journey.
We are looking for a Marketing Analyst to help power our marketing decisions through data, insight and experimentation. This is a brilliant opportunity for a junior analyst to accelerate their career, gain exposure to senior leadership and help shape a fast-growing analytics and marketing capability.
What You’ll Be Doing
You will play a central role in turning complex marketing and commercial data into clear insights that improve performance across channels and brands.
Data analysis & insight
• Analyse online, offline and media data from sources such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEMrush, Tableau and internal systems
• Build forecasts, dashboards and visualisations to support weekly trading and performance reviews
• Conduct deep-dive analysis into traffic, audience behaviour, paid media and campaign results
• Challenge the wider team to improve performance based on your findings
Problem solving
• Monitor weekly KPIs and identify unusual trends or performance changes
• Investigate the root causes, such as channel shifts, creative performance, search demand or conversion changes
• Work with marketing teams to turn insights into improvements
Advanced modelling & reporting
• Help build blended and cross-channel reporting frameworks
• Support econometric and incrementality modelling to understand what really drives results
Automation & system building
• Create automated reports, dashboards and alerts
• Develop repeatable data pipelines to improve speed, accuracy and scalability
• Improve how marketing data is structured and used across the business
How Success Will Be Measured
• Delivery of actionable insights that improve campaign performance
• Effective use of experimentation and advanced tools
• Contribution to building a best-in-class in-house analytics capability
• Strong collaboration across marketing, brand, performance and data teams
What We’re Looking For
You’ll be highly analytical, curious and commercially minded — someone who enjoys turning numbers into stories that drive better decisions.
You will ideally bring:
• Experience analysing marketing and commercial data from multiple sources
• A track record of delivering insights that improve campaign performance
• Exposure to marketing analytics, campaign optimisation or reporting
• Confidence working with stakeholders and presenting insights
• Experience in retail, agency or data-led marketing environments is beneficial
Technical Skills
• Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEMrush, Tableau, Excel or similar
• Data visualisation, dashboards and reporting
• Forecasting and trend analysis
• Data pipelines, automation and alerting
• Knowledge of attribution, econometrics or advanced modelling (desirable)
About You
• Curious, forensic and passionate about data
• A strong problem-solver who enjoys finding the “why”
• Able to explain complex insights simply
• Collaborative and proactive
You’ll be based in Maidenhead at least three days per week, with occasional travel for team or strategic work.
What We Offer:
• Annual salary of up to £55,000
• 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays.
• X2 Life Assurance.
• Pension Scheme.
• Hybrid flexible working (3 days in our Maidenhead office).
• Genuine career progression and mentorship opportunities.
