Role description
Our client, a leading organization in the technology and telecommunications sector, is seeking a Marketing Analyst to join their team. As a Marketing Analyst, you will be part of the Strategic Marketing Department supporting senior leadership and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate analytical rigor, strategic thinking, and proactive problem-solving skills, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Marketing Analyst Location: Basking Ridge, NJ What's the Job? • Translate fragmented market signals and technology trends into a cohesive strategic marketing roadmap for executive leadership. • Analyze internal and external data sources to synthesize insights that inform strategic decisions and identify market opportunities. • Develop and deliver high-impact presentations for leadership, offering predictive insights and strategic recommendations. • Conduct deep-dive competitor ecosystem analysis to identify threats and market gaps, translating findings into strategic moves. • Monitor emerging technologies such as AI, Edge, and Private 5G to optimize marketing strategies and identify white space opportunities. What's Needed? • Proven experience in a strategy-heavy role with the ability to convert complex data into clear growth directions. • 6+ years of experience in market assessment, competitive benchmarking, or management consulting within the B2B sector. • Strong skills in data visualization and storytelling, with the ability to build executive-ready presentations. • Experience managing or analyzing complex product portfolios across varied segments such as Telecommunications or SaaS. • Proficiency in Google Sheets for financial modeling, market sizing, and trend extrapolation. • Even better if you have: • MBA: Strong foundational knowledge in competitive strategy frameworks (Porter’s Five Forces, Blue Ocean, SWOT). Vertical Expertise: Deep understanding of the specific technology needs of Enterprise Business Markets and Public Sector clients.
