Marketing Data Analyst

Pay Rate: $40 – $45 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a Marketing Data Analyst to apply data science principles and business analytics to drive marketing insights, inform strategy, and uncover new revenue and growth opportunities. This role will manage the entire data workflow, from asset curation and integration to modeling, visualization, and communication, while delivering world-class decision support for the Americas Marketing and Commercial organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain data models and visualizations to measure marketing performance, identify trends, and highlight opportunities.
• Build and enhance sales and marketing dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, etc.), ensuring data connectivity and quality.
• Perform statistical analysis and programming using internal and third-party data to generate insights for customer targeting, retention, and market segmentation.
• Translate complex data and methodologies into actionable insights for stakeholders, including senior leadership.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Hands-on experience with relational databases/data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake) and query languages (PL/SQL, T-SQL).
• Proficiency in statistical programming languages (R, Python, SAS, SPSS).
• Strong understanding of marketing metrics such as campaign ROI, funnel management, retention analysis, CRM, digital analytics, and SEO (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Marketing Automation).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Background in life sciences, IVD, or other highly regulated industries.
• Experience deploying machine learning algorithms or forecasting models (OLS, CART, Random Forests, SVM, PCA, K-means, Logistic Regression, Naïve Bayes).
• Familiarity with big data techniques and tools (Hadoop, Pyspark, Hive, Pig), as well as data governance and metadata management.
