Role description
Our client, a leading organization in the gaming and marketing industry, is seeking a Marketing Data Science - Marketing analytics professional to join their team. As a Marketing Data Science - Marketing analytics, you will be part of the Data Organization supporting cross-functional groups such as Product, Finance, and Marketing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong stakeholder engagement, analytical rigor, and marketing intuition, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Marketing Data Science - Marketing analytics Location: Redmond, WA - Onsite 3 days Pay Range: $71.74 - $75.hr on Experis W2 (Benefits/PTO/401k) Top 3 Must-Have HARD Skills & years of experience for each: โ€ข Marketing analytics โ€ข SQL/Python Databricks is strongly preferred for candidates to have but not required What's the Job? โ€ข Measure what drives Minecraft player acquisition, reactivation, and long-term value across marketing channels. โ€ข Own campaign post-mortems, attribution modeling, and marketing funnel analysis to connect upstream spend and impressions to downstream engagement and monetization outcomes. โ€ข Partner with Growth Marketing and Finance to inform budget decisions and develop scalable measurement frameworks for marketing effectiveness. โ€ข Collaborate with senior management and technical teams to determine data requirements and best practices for data manipulation, storage, and analysis. โ€ข Design, implement, automate, and maintain large-scale enterprise data ETL processes to support marketing insights. What's Needed? โ€ข Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field. โ€ข 8-10 years of applicable experience in data analysis and marketing analytics. โ€ข Experience with database technologies and knowledge of the ETL process. โ€ข Proficiency in at least one scripting language and experience with Databricks. โ€ข Strong communication skills, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
