Role description
Marketing Operations Program Specialist Growth Marketing Team This is a 6-month, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in Cupertino, CA or Culver City, CA. Summary We are seeking an experienced Marketing Operations Program Specialist to drive analytics, process improvement, and CRM optimization for a high-performing marketing team. This role focuses on analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and enabling data-driven decision-making to support marketing communications at scale. Our Ideal Candidate • 3–5 years of experience in analytics, marketing operations, or related roles • Passion for marketing technology and operations with a strong foundation in CRM systems and data analysis • Proficient in Salesforce (or similar CRM platforms), Excel, reporting tools, and data visualization software • Familiar with cross-functional collaboration and matrix organizational structures • Skilled in partnering with multiple teams including marketing, product, and technical stakeholders • Able to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and timelines • Strong written and verbal communication with exceptional attention to detail • Curious, self-motivated, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, evolving environment • Experience with SaaS or subscription-based services is a plus • Bonus: AI/ML experience for process and platform improvement Job Description In this role, you will analyze marketing operations processes and CRM platform performance to optimize workflows and enable scalable, data-driven marketing campaigns. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to identify technical issues, recommend solutions, and implement improvements. This includes: • Gathering, cleaning, and analyzing data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies • Owning analytic program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership • Developing reports, dashboards, and visualizations to translate insights into actionable recommendations • Documenting incident/issue symptoms, root cause, business impact, and resolutions • Delivering recurring weekly and monthly reports to inform marketing strategy and decision-making You will also maintain internal analytics and reporting tools, supporting the overall success of the marketing operations team. Education And Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) • Background in marketing operations, data analytics, or CRM management • Preferred experience in SaaS, subscription-based services, or large-scale digital marketing Additional Requirements • This opportunity is located in Cupertino, CA or Culver City, CA and requires a hybrid onsite schedule • Option to extend the contract • Pay rates: Culver City – $64.06/hr, Cupertino – $71.71/hr • Eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting length of service and hours requirements Mathys+Potestio values applicants of all backgrounds and experiences.
