Role Summary (Short)
This role is a Marketing‑embedded Web Analytics position focused on turning website data into clear, actionable business and brand insights. The analyst will use Adobe Analytics to independently analyze web performance and present insights to web and brand teams to influence marketing strategy and website optimization.
The role emphasizes insight generation, storytelling, and stakeholder communication, not just reporting or dashboard creation. Success requires strong alignment to marketing objectives, comfort with upper‑ and mid‑funnel engagement metrics, and the ability to clearly present findings to non‑technical audiences.
Must‑Have Skill Set
Required Technical & Analytical Skills
• Strong hands‑on Adobe Analytics expertise (non‑negotiable)
• Ability to independently:
• Pull, analyze, and explore web data
• Modify or build dashboards when deeper analysis is needed
• Experience working with large, complex website datasets
Business & Marketing Skills
• Proven ability to:
• Translate data into business and marketing insights
• Tie web performance analysis to strategic marketing objectives
• Understanding of non‑ecommerce websites, including:
• Upper‑ and mid‑funnel engagement metrics
• Content performance and user journey analysis
• Experience working closely with web and brand marketing teams
Communication & Presentation Skills
• Strong insight storytelling and presentation capability
• Comfortable presenting findings to cross‑functional marketing stakeholders
• Ability to clearly explain why insights matter and what actions should be taken
Experience Expectations
• Ideal experience range: ~4–6 years
• Depth of skill and insight more important than total years of experience
• Brand marketing, marketing analytics, or in‑house digital analytics backgrounds preferred
• Pharma experience helpful but not required
