Job Summary
Abbott is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Master Data Analyst for a 6-month contract assignment. This role is responsible for the creation, maintenance, and governance of global master data across multiple diagnostic business divisions. The selected candidate will ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across enterprise systems while partnering with cross-functional teams to support business operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Create, update, and maintain master data records including Material Master and Standard Cost data across multiple enterprise applications.
• Process incoming data requests from internal stakeholders and validate information for completeness and accuracy.
• Analyze change requests and assess downstream impacts across integrated systems.
• Coordinate with commercial teams, manufacturing sites, and subject matter experts to meet critical timelines.
• Ensure adherence to divisional governance standards, data policies, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain and update standard operating procedures based on evolving business and regulatory needs.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with stakeholders, including leadership teams, regarding data-related requests and issues.
• Support software implementations, system enhancements, and user onboarding activities.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Master Data Management, Data Operations, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience working in a high-volume and dynamic business environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in healthcare, diagnostics, manufacturing, or regulated industries.
• Knowledge of ERP master data governance and control processes.
• Experience supporting system migrations or implementation projects.
