As a Production Control Specialist, you will play a key role in developing and managing a robust production control process to support Amazon Robotics' high-volume manufacturing operations and new product initiatives. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain operations, or materials management, with a strong background in supplier planning and a solid understanding of production scheduling concepts. Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles such as Kanban, Just-in-Time (JIT), and Kaizen is essential, along with knowledge of Material Resource Planning (MRP) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). A deep understanding of end-to-end supply processes for replenishment planning is also required. Additionally, strong data extraction and visualization skills using tools like SQL, Power BI, or Tableau are highly valued. The ability to manage multiple tasks independently and efficiently is critical to success in this role.
Required Qualifications:
β’ 3+ years of domain experience in the areas of manufacturing, supply chain operations, or materials management
β’ Ability to work independently and efficiently on various assignments at once
β’ Proficient in lean manufacturing principles (Kanban, JIT, Kaizen)
β’ Knowledge of material resource planning (MRP) and manufacturing execution systems (MES)
β’ Strong communication skills both within the team and with external stakeholders
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as high attention-to-detail
β’ Data extraction and visualization skills (SQL, PowerBI, Tableau)
