MCP Connector Developer (AI Integrations) Duration: 6-Month Contract (Extension likely) Employment Type: Contract Role Overview We are seeking a MCP Connector Developer to support next-generation AI and enterprise system integrations for a Fortune 500 client. In this role, you will design and build Model Context Protocol (MCP) connectors that enable AI agents and LLM-based applications to securely interact with enterprise APIs, databases, and internal services. This is a hands-on engineering role ideal for someone with strong backend/integration experience and an interest in AI agent ecosystems and LLM-powered solutions. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop MCP connectors for AI/LLM integrations • Build and maintain API-based integrations with enterprise systems • Develop scalable backend services using Python and/or Node.js (TypeScript) • Implement asynchronous and concurrent processing for high-performance workflows • Collaborate with AI/ML and platform teams to enable agent-driven automation • Ensure reliability, security, and scalability of integration services • Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews Required Skills • Strong experience with API & integration engineering • Proficiency in Python or Node.js/TypeScript • Experience with async/concurrent programming patterns • Solid understanding of REST services, authentication, and distributed systems • Ability to work in a hybrid, collaborative environment MUST Have • Experience with AI agents, LLM applications, or GenAI platforms • Microservices architecture • Cloud deployments (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform) • Docker or containerization • Event-driven or message-based systems
