Job Role: Mechanical Engineer Location: Pasadena , TX Max Pay Range: $80/hr. to $90/hr. #grpa Job responsibilities Mechanical Engineer openings focused on mechanical design and analysis for advanced energy storage products. Job Requirements B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) CAD experience with SolidWorks and/or Creo Experience using engineering analysis tools such as GT-SUITE, thermal analysis platforms, CFD platforms, and combustion analysis platforms Experience with electronics/mechatronics design tools (e.g., Altium or other electrical design platforms) Experience operating and prototyping with 3D printers Preferred Skills Experience with battery systems and Battery Management Systems (BMS) Data visualization tools: Tableau or Microsoft Power BI Test/automation tools: LabVIEW Engineering computation tools: MATLAB Rendering/visualization tools: KeyShot and/or Blender Job Responsibilities Design mechanical components and assemblies for energy storage products using CAD tools Generate and maintain engineering documentation including drawings, BOMs, and design revisions Perform thermal, CFD, and system-level analyses to support product performance targets Support integration of mechanical and electrical subsystems using appropriate design platforms Build and evaluate prototypes using 3D printing and lab-based fabrication methods Execute design validation activities including test planning, data collection, and analysis Support design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) through iterative design updates Collaborate with battery and BMS stakeholders to ensure mechanical designs meet system and safety requirements.
